Street Fighter 6 A.K.I. - Newest Challenger Will Enter The Stage Soon

Street Fighter 6 will have a new Challenger coming soon. She is called A.K.I and will bring some amazing skills into the Street Fighter world. Here is all you need to know.

You'll be able to select another challenger in Street Fighter 6 in a couple of weeks. After seeing first glimpses of the new character, developer Capcom have now given us a full trailer on the new challenger called A.K.I. Here is all you need to know about the new character coming to Street Fighter 6.

Street Fighter 6 A.K.I.: Release Date, Kit & More

So far, we have just seen the gameplay trailer released on the GameSpot YouTube channel. From this trailer we have a lot of Information, that we will list below.

A.K.I. Release Date

A.K.I. will be the character number 20 in the Street Fighter 6 world and will join the other 19 on September 27.

A.K.I. Kit

  • Serpent Lash:
    • Shoots her nails forward in a chain-like shape → inflict poison on contact
    • If move strikes an already-poisoned character → explosion called Toxic Blossom will trigger allowing follow-up attacks.
  • Nightshade Pulse:
    • Creating bubble projectile → poisons on contact
    • follow-up move, Nightshade Chaser: pop the bubble before making contact → increased area of effect
  • Orchid Spring:
    • Creates a poisoned puddle on the ground in front of her → poisons opponents who step in it
  • Sinister Slide:
    • Lies on the ground and slides her body around like a snake → avoid attacks and find opportunities for quick follow-ups
  • Claws of Ya Zi:
    • Pokes multiple areas on the opponent's body with her claws → injects poison that eventually explodes

Additionally, a new Fighting Pass will be there for you to level through starting from September 1. You will be able to receive plenty of A.K.I.-themed cosmetics and other cool stuff. So you should start playing to prepare yourself for the battles against A.K.I.
