The Diablo 4 beta and Server Slam allow you to get level 20, but will that progress carry over to the full game? Find out below.
It feels like a dream – we're actually playingDiablo 4. After ten years of waiting, this game is finally with us. And is it good? We think so. It's not revolutionary, but it seems to be exactly what most Diablo fans would want from a sequel.
You've probably been playing the sh*t out of the Diablo 4 beta like us, and now you're waiting for the Server Slam to start and wondering whether any progress will carry over to the full release. This is always what beta-grinders most wish for, but it rarely happens. So what's the situation in Diablo 4? Will mission and character level progress from the beta carry over to the full game?
Will Beta & Server Slam Progress In Diablo 4 Carry Over To The Full Game?
No, Blizzard have confirmed that progress from the beta or the Server Slam will NOT carry over to the full release of Diablo 4, you will have to start from level 1 again. However, there are three cosmetic items that you can unlock in the full game if you play a lot of the Diablo 4 beta or the Server Slam. Just complete the following challenges in the Diablo 4 beta or the Server Slam, and you can earn rewards in the full game later this year:
- Initial Casualty Title: Reach Kyovashad
- Early Voyager Title: Get one character to level 20
- Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: Get one character to level 20
- Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy: Defeat Ashava with one Level 20 character
It's only a few small rewards for your efforts, but it's better than nothing.
Progress might not carry over from the beta or Server Slam to the full release of Diablo 4, but that's not to say the time is wasted. There's a ton of fun to be had playing thanks to a generous Server Slam level cap of 20 and access to all of Act 1 and thus Fractures Peaks.
We hope you found that helpful. If playing the beta or Server Slam has made you excited enough to buy the full game, here's a link to get Diablo 4.We suggest checking out this overview of classes before starting the full game.
