Midas is back and bringing an exclusive cup to the game! We've got all the details on the prizes, the schedule and more for you.
We've been waiting for the return of Midas for a long time, and now it's finally happening: He's back!
And of course, not without a grand entrance. Because along with a new LTM and new Midas vending machines, there will also be a cup in his honor where you can win the Ascendant Midas Outfit for free. We have all the details for you.
Rise Of Midas Cup: Schedule & Format
The Rise of Midas Cup is a solo tournament in the normal Battle Royale format. All players can participate in up to 10 matches during the three-hour window of their region. This is the schedule for each region:
- Oce: March 24 at 8:00 a.m. CET
- Asia: March 24 at 10:00 a.m. CET
- Europe: March 24 at 7:00 p.m. CET
- Middle East: March 24 at 8:00 p.m. CET
- Brazil: March 24 at 10:00 p.m. CET
- NA East & West: March 25 at 1:00 a.m. CET

Participation
To participate in the cups, simply select the Rise of Midas Cup in the Fortnite Competition tab at the start of the tournament and join the queue. All players must have two-factor authentication activated and verified for their Epic account and have reached at least account level 15.
Scoring System
Points are awarded for both placements and kills. You earn two points for each elimination. The placement points are as follows:
- Victory Royale: 30 points
- 2nd Place: 25 points
- 3rd Place: 22 points
- 4th Place: 20 points
- 5th Place: 19 points
- 6th Place: 17 points
- 7th Place: 16 points
- 8th Place: 15 points
- 9th Place: 14 points
- 10th Place: 13 points
- 11th – 15th Place: 11 points
- 16th – 20th Place: 9 points
- 21st – 25th Place: 7 points
- 26th – 30th Place: 5 points
- 31st – 35th Place: 4 points
- 36th – 40th Place: 3 points
- 41st – 50th Place: 2 points
- 51st – 75th Place: 1 point
Rise of Midas Cup: Prizes
The top players in each region can receive the Ascendant Midas Outfit and the Golden King’s Cape Back Bling before the items appear in the Item Shop. Additionally, the player who scores the most points in each region will receive the Golden Touch Pickaxe and the Golden Ascension Wrap.
Furthermore, anyone who collects at least eight points will also receive The Rise of Midas Loading Screen.
Regarding the distribution of prizes, it will be as follows for the cup:
- Europe: The top 2,600 players will receive prizes
- North America: The top 2,000 players will receive prizes
- Brazil: The top 500 players will receive prizes
- Asia: The top 500 players will receive prizes
- Oceania: The top 200 players will receive prizes
- Middle East: The top 200 players will receive prizes
