Riot announced that Udyr is getting a visual update soon - but who else should get one?

Nocturne 4 — Nocturne

**5. Nocturne:** Yes, he’s iconic, and he can still put the fear of the dark in you, but that doesn’t mean he can’t look snappier. We do see him occasionally - and he should inspire dread, not pity. | © Riot Games

Shyvana 2 — Shyvana

**4. Shyvana:** Sadly, Riot already confirmed that she’s not the next big update. However, the dragon lady should definitely be anyone's short list for visual reworks. Her shapeshifting and the entire “half-dragon” gimmick could be made to look better. | © Riot Games

Quinn 0 — Quinn

**3. Quinn:** the “newest” champion on the list (not even nine years), Quinn still needs a bit of a touch-up. In fact, other than a skill update in 2015, she hasn’t any major changes - and some of her animations show it. Demacia’s best bird & woman tag team needs more than a visual update to return to prominence, but she should start there. | © Riot Games

Chogath 0 — Cho'Gath

**2. Cho’Gath:** Another legacy champion who has seen some small updates but is still looking a bit dated. Cho’s animation is quite ponderous, especially as he beefs up with more ultimate stacks. He should look intimidating, but right now he's just janky. | © Riot Games

Rammus 2 — Rammus

**1. Rammus:** “Okay” may be his signature line, but neither his kit nor his visuals are okay for 2022. Rammus has been one of the original champions from the Beta and despite getting two visual refreshes, he’s still looking a bit goofy. | © Riot Games

During its over ten years, Riot Games have released nearly 160 champions for League of Legends. It’s only normal that some would not look quite up to the standards for Akshan or Vex, and a lot of them already have received visual or gameplay updates - but even now, there are plenty who could use a retouch. The developers have already confirmed that Udyr is next in line - and here is our ranking of the five that need it the most after him.
