It's time we take a look at skin releases this year. Which ones were the worst?
This might be a cop-out since PROJECT: Zed was released before 2021, but the prestige edition came out this year, and it really isn't that great. It's the same skin, only gold and there is nothing prestigious about it really. Sure, they gave the man some hair, but was that really necessary? | © Riot Games
Not only is this a pay-to-lose skin, but it's also awkward to see a 2021 skin on a 2009 model. Tryndamere's animations are so outdated that they just don't look good with this skin. It's a pass on our part. | © Riot Games
Okay... let's take a moment and talk about those shoulder pads. Is so much customization really allowed on a school uniform? Seems a bit much to me and well... in-game, the shoulder pads look kind of awful as well. | © Riot Games
This skin could have been incredible, but some sound effects are a bit off and make it seem like Riot just re-used her PROJECT sound particles for this skin. Also, the ult is hard to see sometimes, which also sucks. | © Riot Games
This skin really didn't hit the mark. Sure, you could get it for free, but would you really spend your tokens on this skin? Hardly. The only saving grace was the Wild Rift Unbound Thresh cinematic. That was a banger. | © Riot Games
