4. CHOVY TO HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS: After a disappointing 2020, Hanwha Life Esports has opted for a serious rework of its roster. For that, they called on one of Korea’s best mid laners of the last few years, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon. A former LCK champ with Griffin and LCK 2020 Summer silver medalist with DRX, the young mid laner has shown himself to be one of the best in a very competitive region. REKKLES TO G2 ESPORTS: For some six years, Martin "Rekkles" Larsson has been Fnatic’s franchise player, only leaving the team for one ill-fated season before returning to the orange and black team. Having already made a rock-solid reputation as Europe’s best and most consistent AD carry, he has carried Fnatic to multiple Worlds playoffs before showing once more this year that he belongs with the world’s best. 2. KHAN TO DAMWON GAMING: As the winner of the LCK 2020 Summer split and 2020 Worlds champion, DAMWON Gaming made it very clear that they were the best team in the world in the summer. Yet after letting their star top laner Jang "Nuguri" Ha-gwon go, they chose to bring Kim "Khan" Dong-ha from Funplus Phoenix. 1. PERKZ TO CLOUD9: The biggest transfer of the season by far was the departure of G2 Esports long-serving member Luka "Perkz" Perković to North America. Teams from different leagues tried to woo the G2 bot laner and former mid. The eventual winner, Cloud9, scored what may be the biggest NA transfer coup of all time, getting what many believe to be one of the best Western players of all time.
