Riot revealed that they're getting rid of Blind Pick in the near future, a long time ago. Now, some players have discovered what the new Team Builder or Quick Play could look like.
League of Legends players, get ready! Earlier this year, Riot revealed that they had some interesting plans for the upcoming Blind Pick Queue in League of Legends... and by interesting we mean they're going to get rid of it.
But they will replace it with something brand-new and exciting and it could be coming sooner than many League of Legends players have anticipated. Well... at least now we know where all the money for the $200 Jhin skin is going, eh?
LoL: Quick Play UI Revealed On Hidden PBE
Now, this information for the new Quick Play game mode comes from the Public Beta Environment (PBE). Known League of Legends content creator, Vandiril, showed off this new feature on his YouTube channel, where he explained that not everyone is able to access this part of the PBE yet, but that the new game mode addition could come to LoL soon.
Not only was the new Team Builder found, but also a 28-people TFT lobby, as well as 1-vs-1 ARAM's and other unique game modes. Of course, the Quick Play team builder was the most interesting one.
In this mode, players will be able to choose a champion, as well as their role and their skin. Then, when a match is found, players can just quickly adjust their runes before they're shifted off onto Summoner's Rift.
It seems like the mode is still bugged, with Vandiril explaining that everyone, except for one person in their game, had to play without summoner spells.
New Quick Play Feature To Be Added Soon
Now, Quick Play won't be a part of LoL Patch 13.17, but we could imagine it being ported over to the regular PBE pretty soon. The feature, overall, seems to be mostly finished, with a few bugs here and there.
So, it could be that we're going to get to play Quick Play as soon as either LoL Patch 13.18 or LoL Patch 13.19. This is going to replace Blind Pick, so if you're a fan of this game mode, then you better get playing right now before it gets removed forever.
