RollingStone recently released their list of the 25 most influential creators of 2025. On that list you could find names like Kai Cenat, Ironmouse or IShowSpeed. In 7th place, MrBeast found himself. Many would be honored to have a spot at the top 10, others wouldn't care what a magazine says about them.

MrBeast chose a different option. On X, hemade his dismay public about someone with less followers being ahead of him.

What Jimmy didn't factor in was that RollingStone doesn't just look at follower numbers. They also weigh in engagement rate and audience growth. And Caleb is not only a gay icon, he is also a positive role model for everyone on the heftier side, with which he gained a lot of traction.

"A Cool Life Is Possible For Me"

Caleb Hearon is a comedian who gained a lot of attention with his podcast appearances. Especially So true with Caleb Hearon produced a lot of clips that were posted again and again on TikTok. He jokes a lot about gay and fatphobic stereotypes. As a gay and hefty man himself, his confidence means a lot for many in the community.

I think it’s radical that I don’t dislike myself as a fat person in a society that hates fat people.

His growing influence is undeniable and he recognizes the opportunity he has, telling people to be who they are. In 2024 he told RollingStone:

I want fat people – especially little fat gay kids in red states – to watch my stuff and go ‘Oh, actually, a cool life is possible for me."

MrBeast Unmasked?

Many people were perplexed by MrBeast's post. Wouldn't he realize how bitter this makes him look? He definitely realized the mishap after many people told him in the comments and he later deleted the post. Is this a glimpse at the real Jimmy not posing as his internet persona, MrBeast? Or was this just another instance of a joking comment that fell flat?

RollingStone also explained in their ranking that his Amazon show Beast Games has led to controversies and class-action lawsuits, as some of the game show contestants claimed to be severely mistreated. Instead of looking at the magazine's reasoning, Jimmy seems to assume that RollingStone is just out to get him.

What do you think about MrBeast? Is he still the charitable YouTuber gifting cars left and right or has your opinion changed about him?
