Now, Twitch wants to up the subscription price on mobile devices, but fear not, we've got the solution.
How To Still Pay Less
Maybe you're wondering why Twitch only increases the price for subscriptions on mobile devices. The reason is that the company has to pay extra fees for subscriptions that are being bought through Apple's and Google's app stores.
The price for Tier 1 subscriptions will increase from $5.99 to $7.99. The $2 increase will benefit Twitch since they won't have to worry about the app store fees anymore.
Now, if it isn't obvious already, you can just bypass these new rules by not buying your subscription through one of the app stores.
Just go into your browser on any device, and buy your subscription from the official Twitch website. That way, you will only pay the original price.
