In his latest stream, one of the most controversial internet personalities announced that he has no intention of changing his problematic behavior, even if he gets banned from TikTok.

Over 10 years in a South Korean Prison

We previously reported that Johnny Somali is currently facing the possibility of more than 10 years in a South Korean prison due to his behavior.

The charges include assault and drug abuse, but also the use of a deepfake program to make it appear as though he was in a relationship with a famous Korean streamer.

However, what truly crossed the line and obliterated any remaining boundaries was when he twerked in front of a peace statue and attempted to kiss it. The statue is a memorial honoring the victims of sexual slavery during the war in Japan.

These actions have not only outraged the public but have also drawn the attention of the South Korean government, which is now monitoring the YouTuber closely.

No remorse from Somali

Given these incidents, it’s no surprise that Somali has been banned from almost all platforms, including even Kick. TikTok remains one of the few platforms where he still has a presence.

Instead of behaving appropriately and trying to avoid a ban on TikTok, Somali used a stream to threaten further outrageous behavior. He stated that if he was to be banned, he would return to the peace statue to repeat his despicable actions.

In the stream, he declared:

I swear to God, if you ban me from TikTok, I’ll go back to the statue tomorrow. If TikTok bans me, I’m going back!

Given such a staggering level of disconnect from reality, it seems that the question is not if but when Somali will face serious consequences for his actions, but rather when – and when that happens, it’ll likely involve far more than a TikTok ban.

What’s your opinion on Somali? Do you think he’ll face appropriate consequences soon?
