MrBeast's latest collaboration sees him enter the world of rap.
MrBeast has teamed up with Lil Baby on a surprise remix of "Dead Fresh." The unexpected collab sees MrBeast not only appear in the music video for the Atlanta rapper’s latest single, but also grab the microphone to deliver a short rap verse of his own.
He heavily references his enormous wealth, philanthropic work, and internet-famous persona. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, even references his TeamSeas and TeamTrees initiatives, which have raised money for ocean cleanup and tree-planting efforts.
"Richest rapper on the scene, call me MrLean," raps MrBeast. "30 million pounds of trash, we got that ocean clean. Take a minute, feel the breeze, it's 20 million trees."
Donaldson closes out his verse with, "Gave a quarter back to my hood, call me Tom Brady. And I ain't even done, I had to call Baby", before passing the mic to Lil Baby.
MrBeast Shows Off His "MrLean" Persona
MrBeast's appearance plays into the "MrLean" persona that MrBeast has been using online since 2025.
The character originated from the viral "hood MrBeast" trend and has become another way for the creator to poke fun at his public image.
@mrbeast You can call me MrLean now

Following the Lil Baby collaboration, MrBeast even asked fans whether they would want to see a full rap album from the character. However, he has not officially announced that an album is in the works.
An Unexpected New Direction for MrBeast
MrBeast has become known for massive YouTube productions, business ventures, and philanthropy, so him teaming up with Lil Baby is about as unexpected as it gets.
The creator has dabbled in music-related content before, but his "Dead Fresh" appearance is definitely a big step into the world of rap. Given that MrBeast has made a career of doing wild and outlandish things, it's hard to tell if this is simply a one-off joke or the beginning of a new era.
