Shroud’s mouse was so dirty, viewers compared it to a living organism.
If you’re a streamer who games 24/7, your setup can get a little dirty over time, but Shroud’s mouse took it to a whole new level.
All That Grinding Left Its Mark On Shroud’s Mouse
The former Counter-Strike pro Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek is known for being one of the sweatiest FPS streamers out there. Over the past few months, he has been grinding Arc Raiders almost nonstop and anyone who has spent time shooting a kettle in that game knows one thing for sure: that mouse is putting in serious work.
During a recent stream, however, Shroud gave viewers a closer look at his gaming mouse, asking the chat:
“Okay, be honest. Is this gross or is this normal? I just don’t know.”
The mouse appeared to be covered in some kind of substance along the side he showed to the camera. Shroud then explained what had happened earlier in the day:
“I was playing WoW earlier and my mouse pad got stuck on something and this part fell off while I was playing. All the grime that was in the back was on the front and I rubbed it into my mousepad. All of it. Just so gross. Now my mousepad has streaks in it.”
Viewers were visibly disgusted by the state of the gaming mouse. Many described it as “gross” and urged Shroud to clean his setup as soon as possible. Whether he will actually do so, however, remains to be seen.
Shroud is not the first streamer whose focus clearly isn’t on hygiene. Not long ago, streamer Asmongold claimed he lives like a “real American”, while his room is widely considered one of the messiest in the entire streaming scene. xQc has also been criticized multiple times for piles of garbage stacking up around his streaming setup.
Most gamers know the feeling: a gaming session that stretches across an entire weekend, followed by the disturbing sight of your setup once the grind is finally over. The difference is that regular people usually clean up afterward, like real Americans.
