The Love Triangle returns this July.
Get ready for another summer full of heartbreak, impossible choices and a perfect Taylor Swift soundtrack. Season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty is officially dropping on July 16, 2025 on Prime Video.
First Trailer Shows That We Are In For An Emotional Ride
The official trailer dropped and it wastes no time getting into the drama. Belly is now engaged to Jeremiah, but Conrad is back and clearly still in love with her. With Taylor Swift’s music setting the tone perfectly once again, the trailer captures the emotional weight of Belly’s biggest decision yet.

The Plot: A Time Jump That Changes Everything
Season 3 picks up two years after the last one ended. Belly is now in college and engaged to Jeremiah, even though her mother does not support their decision. The two are planning their future together, but things are far from settled. When Conrad reenters her life, the past comes rushing back. Belly is once again torn between her two great loves.
Based On The Final Book Of The Trilogy
The third season is inspired by We’ll Always Have Summer , the last book in Jenny Han’s bestselling trilogy. While the show has made changes in the past, this season seems to follow the book more closely. In the original story, Belly accepts Jeremiah’s proposal but ultimately realizes that Conrad is the one she truly loves. Whether the show will end the same way is still unclear.

The Cast
Most of the main cast is returning, including Lola Tung as Belly, Christopher Briney as Conrad and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah. Fans will also see Rain Spencer as Taylor, Sean Kaufman as Steven and both of Belly’s parents. This season also introduces new cast members who will bring new drama to the story. Isabella Briggs and Kristen Connolly join as series regulars, while Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand’Maison, Emma Ishta and Tanner Zagarino appear in recurring roles. Their characters are still under wraps, but they are expected to add new twists.

Until Then, Rewatch And Get Ready
While we count down the days, now is the perfect time to rewatch the first two seasons, reread the books or make a Taylor Swift playlist to prepare. In a recent interview, creator Jenny Han warned that the final season will leave fans "damaged and devastated." That might sound dramatic, but anyone who has followed Belly’s journey knows she's not exaggerating.
