Jake Paul has proven to the world that he is many things: a YouTuber, a boxer and probably one of the most controversial content creators of our time. But according to Donald Trump, Jake might even become a politician in the future – or at least that's what the current president of the United States seems to think should happen.

Jake Paul's Appearance In Kentucky

Jake Paul joined Donald Trump on stage during a recent rally in Kentucky. Even though Trump's supporters behind the stage didn't seem to be too excited about the YouTuber's appearance, he was allowed to address them directly when he was handed the microphone. He first talks about how he grew up not too far from where the rally took place and ended his statement by saying:

"I know God is with us. I know He wants us on the right side of history and everyone here has to do their part, and God's got us. Trump's got us."

After Jake then left the stage again, Trump turned to his supporters and openly talked to them about Jake:

"I'm gonna make a prediction that you [Jake Paul] will be, in the not too distant future, running for a political office. And you have my complete and total endorsement."

The clips from that appearance immediately took over Twitter. Given that this happened not long after Trump, according to Fox News, appointed "Erika Kirk to serve on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors," this got a lot of backlash (just as the news about Erika Kirk did).

"We All Died And This Is Hell"

A lot of people on Twitter seem to agree that this appearance and Donald Trump's statements about the YouTuber after he left the stage felt almost dystopian. One person on Twitter simply added: "we all died and this is hell", which seems to sum up most people's thoughts on the whole situation.

Others, despite their disapproval of the whole situation decided to take a more humorous approach. And it is easily understandable why: Having the president of the United States endorse someone that most people know for YouTube videos and highly questionable statements and actions is something that most people would agree sounds made up.

And it also didn't stop there: Jake Paul shared a TikTok video of him and Donald Trump dancing to the song YMCA. A Twitter account called Republicans against Trump then reposted it with the caption: "Peak cringe".
