Rob Wiethoff is best known as the voice of John Marston from Red Dead Redemption. In a new stream, he talks about news that he is not yet allowed to discuss in detail.

Just A Chill Guy

Voice acting isn't the only thing Rob Wiethoff offers his fans: the 48-year-old American voice actor and actor streams on Twitch from time to time, both gameplay and his fitness journey. Although he has appeared in a few commercials and a handful of films, he is best known for his role as John Marston in Red Dead Redemption.

He initially worked in a regular job, but later converted his chicken coop into a home office to display gifts from fans. In general, he seems like a really cool guy. So it's not surprising that many fans also watched his Red Dead Redemption stream on June 14.

What's The Big Secret?

In the stream, he announced that he had exciting news, which he couldn't go into detail about. This news should come to light at the end of this week, definitely before Friday. He says he can't think of anything else, especially while playing the game (which was Red Dead Redemption). Could it be a new RDR installment? Fans believe this is unlikely, as Rockstar probably has its hands full with Grand Theft Auto 6, which is due to be released next year. Most are certain that it must have something to do with the speculated Read Dead Redemption 2 remaster.

Red Dead Redemption 2 On Next Gen?

We already reported that the well-known and respected leaker and content creator NateTheHate speculated about a possible remaster of Red Dead Redemption 2. It should be noted that he refers to a "next-gen" remaster, but this game is already several years old. Of course, we are talking about PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, which suggests what we can expect: an improvement to the game, similar to the Enhanced Edition in GTA 5, with revised lighting effects and high-resolution textures.

What do you think – are some Red Dead News on the horizon or should we get ready for something completely different?
