Rockstar's parent company have issued a copyright strike against a YouTuber for reporting on GTA 6 leaks, which makes us fairly certain those leaks are legit.

In September, insider LegacyKillaHD shared a series of leaks about GTA VI on X, detailing various aspects of the game's development. The leaks covered mission types, a heist inspired from Fast and Furious, and the game's narrative structure compared to Red Dead Redemption 2.
GTA 6 leaks heat up as YouTuber faces copyright strike
When YouTuber Cyber Boi created a video merely discussing these leaks, he faced a copyright strike from Take-Two Interactive. Notably, he did not include any leaked footage, but merely used clips from GTA 5 to highlight LegacyKilla's findings.Cyber Boi believes this action indicates the authenticity of the leaks, and noted that other YouTubers have also experienced content removals related to the leaked details. He addressed the strike on Reddit, saying: "Earlier this year, Take-Two outsourced their content ID system to a 3rd party company. They don’t bother claiming leaked footage anymore. However, over the past 24 hours, they have been claiming tweets talking about leaks (more specifically images, even if they are AI generated). They’ve also been claiming gameplay."
He further shared: "I’ve had conversations today with five other YouTubers that have had it happen to them. It looks like they are clamping down on leaked information." While Cyber Boi is optimistic that the copyright strike will be overturned, it brings up significant questions about the validity of LegacyKilla's leaks and the wider implications for content creators discussing potential GTA VI details.
