In Schedule 1, you will build your drug empire from the ground up and waste your dirty money in many different ways.

In Schedule 1, you will grow your own weed, get customers and get involved with all kinds of criminal activities. Almost like GTA... I guess?
Definitely (Not) A GTA Clone
There are plenty of games in which you play as a criminal, that's nothing new. But the recently published Schedule 1 from TVGS is something different indeed.
In the town of "Hyland Point" you're starting off as a nobody. However, your uncle, who is – unsurprisingly – in prison, informs you about a large sum of money, which you'll then use to rent a small motel room to grow cannabis. You will start small: A pot, some soil, and a seed, and you're ready to go. Give out free samples, build up customer relationships and put your name out there. And did I already mention that you can also play co-op?

What Makes The Game So Special?
This seems simple at first, but goes deeper than you might think. You can negotiate and make deals with your customers via mobile phone or meet them in the open world. But that's not the only thing that awaits you. You can also pickpocket and visit the casino! And even if you just want a quick taco, don't get caught by the police!

Especially at night, you will get arrested, and your illegal substances will be confiscated if you can't run fast enough. Weed isn't the only drug you will encounter, be aware of that! That doesn't mean it will be possible to avoid conflict every time. It's dangerous work after all, so be well-prepared. If you're going strong, you can expand and buy more space!

Demo And Early Access
The game is being developed by a single developer and it's TVGS's first game. It's still in Early Access, but you can buy it on Steam for $19.99. If you're not ready to spend the money just yet, you can download a free demo version. A free sample, so to speak...

TVGS stated that the game will stay in Early Access for around two years and will receive continuous monthly updates.
Among others, these include:
- significant expansion of the map
- several more drugs and production processes
- a larger customer and supplier network
- more fun things to spend your hard-earned cash on
Hopefully, the game will grow just as big as your plants.

What Do The Players Think?
Reviews describe the game as "addictive" (haha) and "one of the best simulation games" and praise the soundtrack, the cute graphics and the fact that the game is already so good in Early Access.
If you'd like to get the good stuff, you can find it here on Steam.
What do you think of the game? Is the game worth the $20 price, or do you wait for a better deal?
