What many fans wished for from the beginning has officially been announced for next week.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the great medieval RPG from Warhorse Studios, has announced that the Hardcore Mode will be released next week.
The popular role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance doesn't need much of an introduction. We have covered the new masterpiece from Warhorse Studios many times. While the second part was an instant fan-favorite, players who have followed Henry's journey from the beginning have been waiting for mod support and a hardcore mode. The wait will come to an end next week.

Hardcore Mode For A Realistic Experience
After mod support was implemented on March 13, the developers have now announced a hardcore mode that will be released next week. The game will no longer save automatically, and quest markers on the map vanish for the most part. Battles are much more difficult thanks to improved enemy AI, and fast travel has also been removed.

Poor Henry
Negative traits were also part of the hardcore mode in the first game. There you had to choose between two problems that you had to deal with over the course of the game. Henry could sleepwalk, have a tapeworm, or was simply very fragile and shaky. For the second installment, Warhorse came up with something new, for the most part:

In the article published on X, we can also recognize familiar names:
- Numbskull – All experience gained is lowered.
- Somnambulant – Sleeping has a set chance of causing you to awake in a completely different place. This led to some funny moments throughout the first game.

We can only speculate about the rest, “Bad Back”, for example, could reduce the carrying capacity and “Sweaty” might make you stink constantly. The community is already joking that gamers have already learned to live with these difficulties anyway. There is also a lot of praise for the developers at Warhorse Studios:
You guys just keep making this game better and better.
Here's the truth....Most of the gamer's have 2 or more of these "perks"
What's Next To Come?
At the end of March, we could already watch the trailer for the first DLC. Anyone who has already played KCD2 knows that the game left us on a cliffhanger. Luckily, we can take part in Henry's story a little longer, assuming that this is a direct continuation of the story. You can watch the trailer here.
