Reports from WCCFTech claim that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 producer Martin Klíma has acknowledged setbacks induced by the specs of the entry-level Xbox console.

Kingdom Come Deliverance Sequel Faces Challenges On Xbox Series S

The Xbox Series S, with its 10GB of RAM, falls short in comparison to its current-gen sisters, and is causing problems for the devs of Kingdom Come 2.In response to these hardware constraints, the developers have opted to scale back the sequel's scope on that weaker console, limiting its expansion to roughly 25% of what was initially envisioned. This decision, although pragmatic, necessarily cuts back on the potential richness and depth that the creators had originally aimed to deliver.

Resolution Cap: 1440p With Stable 30 FPS

Warhorse Studios, the creative minds behind the game, have also disclosed the technical specifics for each platform. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is slated to grace the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles with a 4K resolution and a stable frame rate of 30 FPS.

Whereas, the Xbox Series S is capped at 1440p. Nevertheless, players can expect a consistent frame rate of 30 FPS, ensuring a relatively smooth gaming experience on the console.Despite the lack of a confirmed release date, the game is slated for release later this year across Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
