Our picks this time: two awesome indies, a beloved classic, and a newcomer that definitely deserves more attention.
Our Weekend’s Finest: Phasmophobia

If you still haven’t heard of Phasmophobia, you’ve probably been living under a rock... At the latest since the game dropped on console last year with a MASSIVE update, it’s been on everyone’s radar – and for good reason.
Phasmophobia is THE multiplayer horror game that kicked off the trend of small indie horror hits. I’m talking Lethal Company, Content Warning, R.E.P.O., and so on.
In Phasmophobia, you’re a ghost hunter working with your team or partner to uncover clues about the identity of a spirit. But don’t expect these ghosts to be friendly – most of them get seriously aggressive if you hang around too long.
Phasmo is super entertaining, never gets boring, and always delivers on the chills. If you ask me – and I’ve been playing this game for years – it’s the perfect pick for this weekend! ;)
Weekend’s Finest Hidden Gem: Ender Magnolia

Ender Magnolia launched earlier this year, but sadly flew under the radar for many. Which is wild, considering it has a FIVE-POINT-ZERO star rating... 5.0. Let that sink in.
Picture this: you wake up in a lab deep underground, the world has collapsed due to a toxic catastrophe, artificial lifeforms have gone mad – and you’re the only one who can still save them. Ender Magnolia is a dark and stunning 2D action RPG that takes you through a post-apocalyptic world full of magic, machines, and shattered memories. You fight alongside Homunculi – beings once created to help develop the kingdom, now twisted into monsters by the toxic Fumes.
The gameplay is super smooth – a big step up from the already solid predecessor Ender Lilies. With 30 different abilities, there are tons of ways to build your playstyle.
The world is dark, beautiful, and incredibly atmospheric. You’ll explore abandoned cities, creepy labs, and massive factories – all hand-drawn in gorgeous 2D, and paired with an amazing soundtrack.
And that’s it for this week! Thanks for reading The Weekend’s Finest Games – we’ll be back next Friday with more fresh picks! And don’t forget to tell us which games YOU think should be featured next!
