Rebel Wolves will release their debut title Dawnwalker with Bandai Namco, which hope to make a series.
The new studio from Poland, Rebel Wolves, recently signed an agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment to publish their debut title Dawnwalker globally.
Who are Rebel Wolves?
Rebel Wolves is a Polish studio made up of experienced game developers, many of whom have worked for CDPR. For instance, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Rebel Wolves' CEO, and Jakub Szamałek, narrative director and main writer, both worked on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
The developers of Rebel Wolves thought that working together with Bandai Namco Entertainment was a good idea for their project because, as Tomasz Tinc puts it:
Not only does it share our values, but also its track record in publishing narrative-driven RPGs speaks for itself.
But what exactly is it they want to work together on?
What is Dawnwalker?
Dawnwalker will be Rebel Wolves' debut game, and is intended to be a "dark fantasy narrative sandbox, AAA action RPG" for mature audiences.
As of now, we do not have any information about the story. We only know that the experience will be story-driven, and that the game will be set in medieval Europe.
Unfortunately, we have no release date either. Bandai Namco Entertainment has only stated that the game will be released digitally and physically for PC, PS5 and Xbox.
