Prime Video doesn't only have a bunch of new releases to offer in May, it's also a time to celebrate. May is the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month – APAHM – and Prime is here to celebrate diversity!

The Asian and Pacific Islander communities now get their time to shine, especially on Prime Video. With their new APAHM collection, you can get lost in AAPI-led shows and movies, both old and new. Let's take a look at what's in store, shall we?

APAHM On Prime Video: Celebrate With Some Great Content

Amazon Prime are shining the spotlight on AAPI creators, directors and actors this month, and there are a bunch of shows you should definitely check out, including Surf Girls, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The Summer I Turned Pretty, just to name a few.

Of course, there are even more great movies and shows for you to enjoy that aren't created by Prime but are available on the platform. You can give Aquaman with Jason Mamoa a try, or with an additional subscription check out Suzume on Crunchyroll. Everything Everywhere All At Once is also available to rent or buy, and if you somehow missed that masterpiece, now's your time to catch up. It's amazingly good.

You should also check out the Heritage Heroes collection by The Asian American Foundation, featuring everyday heroes in a series of short films by AAPI creators.

In the spirit of celebrating APAHM, here's a free-trial month for Prime – that one's on us, so check out Prime Video in May and show some love!
