Top 5 Pistols In Warzone Pacific

When you run out of rounds on your primary, you're going to want a decent secondary weapon to switch to, and some of the pistols are very strong right now. Here are the top 5 pistols in Warzone Pacific.

Cast your memory back, all those years ago, to CoD 4. The first piece of advice Price gives you is simple: “Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading”. It became an iconic meme in Call of Duty. And all these years later, in Warzone Pacific, it still holds true. You should switch to your pistol if an enemy is closing in, and you run out of ammo. But what pistol should you use? What's the best sidearm in Warzone? Keep reading to find out.

1. Top Break Akimbo

This is currently the replacement for the .357 from Modern Warfare with Snakeshot. That gun was basically a pocket shotgun, then it got nerfed. But the Top Break can currently do the same thing that the .357 once did. And needless to say, it slaps. The optic looks ridiculous, but it reduces our recoil (for some reason).

2. AMP63

The AMP63 is the closest you're going to get to having an SMG without Overkill. It has the best stats for range out of all the pistols, which gives it great versatility, and it's 30 round mags usually put out enough damage to knock down an enemy. Don't try this thing with Akimbo though, it's best used as a standard SMG would be.

3. Sykov

The Sykov is such a fun little spray-and-pray gun. It's a pea-shooter, and it has terrible recoil, but it also has an 80-round magazine and a crazy rate of fire. You can't use this at any range, but if you're in a building, just keep firing, and you will hit something.

4. Diamatti

The Diamatti was once super strong, and while it has been nerfed, it's definitely still a top 5 pistol in Warzone. This is a burst-fire gun, and that means you can put out enough rounds to get a decent TTK, but you can maintain a bit of controllability as well. Also, the Diamatti has some of the nicest skins in the game, and you've probably already got a few of them yourself if you've been playing for a minute.

5. Machine Pistol Akimbo

The final weapon in the top 5 list is Vanguard's Machine Pistol. It looks a bit silly, like something straight out of Star Wars, but don't be fooled, it's lethal. The Machine Pistol has the attachments to make one of the best full-auto hip-fire guns in the game. It's a bit of a spray-and-pray like the Sykov, but there's nothing wrong with that.

What Is The Fastest Pistol In Warzone?

The fastest pistol in Warzone is the Sykov from Modern Warfare. And it has 80-round magazines, so you can keep up the spray and pray for a ridiculously long time. That's why it's ranked so highly among all the pistols in Warzone. However, it doesn't have the lethality of the Top Break or the versatility of the AMP63, so it's stuck in 3rd place. If this list was “funnest pistols in Warzone” it would be number one though. Hopefully Modern Warfare 2 give as another pistol like this on launch.

Should You Use A Launcher Instead?

In Vanguard Royale no, but in Battle Royale, maybe. In Vanguard Royale, you're restricted to using the Vanguard launchers and these are almost completely useless, unless you're specifically targeting the new armored trucks. But in the normal BR-mode, where you can take Modern Warfare's launchers, then potentially. The thing with launchers is that you don't get many rockets, and they're very situationally. The optimal setup is to have one member of the squad carry a launcher (probably the PILA) and everyone else use pistols, unless you're all using Overkill.
