We thought we would have to wait until Warzone Season 2 for Raven Software to go back on their decision, but they've already reverted the change to loadouts. If you've been out of the scene for a while, when Caldera launched, they made a change to loadouts that prevented you from buying one until the first circle had closed. That was an unpopular rule-change, but now we're back to how it was before. And to celebrate the news, FaZe Swagg, maybe the most well-known Warzone streamer, has fulfilled his promise to get a Raven Software tattoo on his behind.

Loadout Change Being Reversed

Loadouts are once again immediately purchasable in Battle Royale. The change to loadouts wasn't very popular at launch. It wasn't unanimously hated in the way things like Krampus have been, but a lot of players felt like it slowed down the pacing of the game. A patch, deployed on February 3, reversed the change, and it was very well received by the community.

FaZe Swagg's Tattoo

Swagg promised he would get the tattoo if they went back on their decision to change loadouts a few weeks ago:

And being a man of his word, he got it done:

You've got to respect the commitment. And thank you Swagg, maybe this was the push Raven needed to get loadouts back early doors. Although that said, I'm glad Vanguard Royale is keeping the change, it makes the mode feel distinct from the standard Battle Royale.

Let's see what other exciting changes we can expect in Season 2. But before then, you have time to grind out the Season 1 Battle Pass for theGorenko and the Cooper.
