The Best Warzone UGM-8 Loadout | The New MG 82

The UGM-8 is a fast-firing LMG with a fantastic TTK and decent mobility. It will receive multiple recoil nerfs throughout its life, and you should expect this to eventually be restricted to the higher-skilled playerbase. But for now, everyone should level it and use this loadout.

LMGs struggle to find popularity in Warzone. They're often simply too heavy and slow to be worth the extra firepower. But there have been a few exceptions to this, and certain LMGs have occasionally appeared in the meta over the last few years. These "viable" LMGs come in two forms, either they're much lighter than other LMGs and basically act like AR/LMG hybrids, or they have such an impressive TTK that they're worth using despite all the downsides.

The MG 82 is a perfect example of this latter type; it has a disgustingly strong damage output, but it's a very difficult to use weapon because of all the drawbacks. And the UGM-8 is probably going to end up in the same place.

Averagely-skilled players might be thinking: "if the UGM-8 is going to become the high-skilled meta then why should I bother levelling it?" And the answer is simple: the UGM-8 has just launched, and they need to sell bundles, so it won't get the recoil nerf it needs for a long time. Therefore, if you level this weapon as quickly as possible, and use this loadout, you will have a fantastic weapon that's easy enough to use for any skill-level.

You might have seen some viral clips of this gun floating around Twitter and right now not a lot of people have unlocked this gun, so it hasn't gained a huge amount of hype, but trust me. Once people have unlocked this gun and realize just how absolutely broken it is, everyone will be using this LMG. And yes, you want to use the burst-barrel. This gun, with that barrel, is just illegal. You can beam people 2/3 even 400 meters far away, no problem. This gun is even more insane than the Bren, and it comes with a 125 round mag. Once people catch on, this gun is going to be nerfed, so use it while you can and farm some free kills. This gun is better than the NZ-41, and we all know how insane the NZ is.

The Best Secondary, Grenades & Perks For A UGM-8 Loadout

The Best Secondary Weapon For The UGM-8

H4 Blixen class S4

The H4 Blixen is the best SMG in the game. SMGs and LMGs go together like a match made in heaven. So this is a pretty obvious option when you're looking for what to couple with your UGM. Of course, some of you won't have the Blixen unlocked, but there are some options here:

For a full overview of this weapon, check out our H4 Blixen setup guide.

The Best Equipment For The UGM-8

LethalSemtex
TacticalSnapshot Grenades

Yes, we know that the Snapshot /Restock combo was nerfed, but Snapshots are still fantastic and a great option for aggressive players. Especially in the dense new Fortune's Keep map. And we are playing an LMG, so wall bangs are a solid option.

Semtex could be swapped out for something else, but we like it because it's a good general option; you can use it on vehicles, against infantry, and even to finish downs.

The Best Perks For The UGM-8

Perk 1E.O.D.
Perk 2Overkill / into Restock

Perk 3

Amped

There's nothing wild going on here, this is a typical selection of perks for an LMG class.

E.O.D. is a passive buff that we can use in almost every game, Overkill is required to take the SMG in the pocket (and we do need an emergency option on-hand), and Amped allows us to switch to that SMG as fast as possible.

And that was your complete guide to the UGM-8, we hope you found it helpful. If the UGM is too slow for you still, and you're just looking for that great long-range option, check out the NZ-41.
