Amouranth recently explained why she had to pull out of Ibai's boxing event.

Amouranth is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch... sorry, I mean Kick of course. The popular content creator never missed a trend that could launch her career into even greater heights. Until now. Sadly, Amouranth won't be participating in Ibai's boxing event due to a late stage ovarian failure diagnosis.

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa is pretty much the biggest and most famous female Streamer out there, who has shaped the streaming industry more than most. It's thanks to Amouranth that ASMR's and Hot-Tub Streams were as big as they were.

The 29-year-old has always been quick to take opportunities and make the most out of them, but sadly, this time she won't be able to.

Amouranth Pulls Out Of Boxing Debut Due To Health Issues

On June 26, 2023, Amouranth posted on Twitter, revealing that she had been diagnosed with late stage ovarian failure back in March. Normally the popular streamer tends to keep her medical stuff private (probably because of all the parasocial fans out there), but this time she felt like she needed to explain why she would miss out on some high profile events.

Amouranth noticed mental and physical changes over the last year, but only started to take it seriously in March. Since then, she has undergone “many tests and diagnostic procedures”.

The streamer then details her symptoms and how that barred her from taking part in the boxing event.

Amouranth claims that she tried to push through her symptoms but was ultimately vetoed by her medical team, because of the “potential for extreme injury or death”. So sadly, we won't see Amouranth in the upcoming boxing event, but her focussing on her health is definitely the right call!

While her decision to back out of the boxing event is absolutely understandable, it seems like she didn't handle the logistics very well.

If you want to pick up boxing for yourself, you should first get some nice gloves .

After she revealed her condition on Twitter, Ibai revealed that he did not see that coming, and apparently only ever heard of this on social media (through her Twitter thread).

As a master graduate of sociology who wrote his thesis about Twitch, Robert knows a fair share about streaming. Adding to that, he loves binge-watching TV shows, so he got entertainment covered....
