After a record-breaking run at the box-office, becoming one of the highest grossing movies of all time, the digital release of Avatar 2 might have revealed some “huge” spoilers for the upcoming sequel.

The digital release came with a bunch of special features, including behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew. It also shows the lengths James Cameron went to in order to create the visual masterpiece that was the Way of Water.

Behind-The-Scenes Footage Might Have Included Major Spoiler For Avatar 3

Fans began mining the special features, spotting what appeared to be a major spoiler for the upcoming third movie.

  • There is also a PS5 game coming for Avatar, so if you haven't been able to get a PS5 yet, here is your chance.

On the Avatar sub-reddit a user revealed that in the ‘Building the World of Pandora’ special feature on the Avatar 2 digital release, there is a brief shot of a screenplay that could be a huge leak.

Spoiler Alert!

To sum it up: "Quaritch and Jake were together, talking about Spider. Apparently, Spider can breathe Pandora's air after some major event that happened that night. The Sullys are back at High Camp Neytiri returns to High Camp injured. Mo'at is there. There's a new character named Va'ru. Wainfleet is alive and with Quaritch. The RDA is building some huge new device at Bridgehead for an unknown purpose"

This leak would be huge news, as Spider is a human and was wearing a mask in order to breath for the full runtime of the second movie. We should add, that this could be an earlier script, so the idea of Spider being able to breath on Pandora could have been scrapped entirely.

But, it could also be a major plot point, building up in the third movie, as humans not being able to breath on Pandora was kind of the whole reason for the Avatar project in the first place (kinda).
