In only a little over a month, the second season of Good Omens will release on Amazon Prime. Sadly, a new promotional video spoiled a major plot point of this mysterious season and creator Neil Gaiman is absolutely heartbroken.

Amazon's competitor Netflix also has some interesting news to share:

So the series first season was based on the book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It followed the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley on their journey to stop the end of the world. For the second season, Neil Gaiman wrote a completely original plot, which means we know almost nothing about the plot of this season.

Here is the only trailer we got so far:

Good Omens Season 2 Leak Breaks Neil Gaiman's Heart

Amazon really messed up. They released a new promotional video for the second season, but it spoiled a major point of the show! I won't go into detail of what it was, but fans, who have seen it, are seemingly very split on it. After only a short time the company deleted it again and now copies are floating around waiting to spoiler unsuspecting fans.

Creator Neil Gaiman is currently on strike with many other writers in Hollywood, so he wasn't aware of this until it hit the internet. On Tumblr he spoke out about this leak and expressed his sadness to the fans.

As you can hear, it is very important to him that fans avoid the spoilers and enjoy the new journey, when the series actually releases on Amazon Prime . He wrote a few more posts, reinforcing that fans should go into the second season of Good Omens without any spoilers.

Our advice is: Avoid the tags or block them and just rewatch the first season again or read the book. This way you can enjoy the season as it was intended in only a few weeks.
