After being silent for a while now, Netflix finally released a first look at the Straw Hat crew for their One Piece live-action adaptation. So far, this looks...kind of promising.

Ever since Netflix announced their live-action adaptation of the popular One Piece Anime, people have been uncertain whether to get hyped for the show, or not. Now we finally got a first look at the Straw Hats, even though it's just their backs, and later this year the crew will set sails on Netflix.
One Piece Adaptation Set To Release In 2023 As First Promo Material Gets Revealed
The One Piece adaptation, starring Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji), is now closer than ever, with Netflix posting the first promotional material for the show on Twitter.

In their Tweet, Netflix also posted a link to their website, where fans can already get a glimpse of the whole crew (at least their backs).
The live action pirate adventure is based on the most popular manga series in history, created by Eiichiro Oda, who also serves as executive producer for the show.
Oda's role in the show will hopefully make the adaptation as accurate to the original vision as possible, but a little bit of skepticism is still advised, as this is still an anime adaptation after all.
So far the design and the casting are looking phenomenal and with Oda overseeing the production, this might be the first good live-action anime adaption ever! But let's see how it turns out once we get an actual trailer for the show.
