Possibility 1 - Fixing Via Steam in 3 easy steps
Step I: To fix the error via steam, you have to log on to Steam and go into your game-library. Here you have to use right-click on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Now there should be a dropdown menu, in which you click on "properties". Now a window opens.
Step II: Click on the field "Local Files". On the right side will be the button "verify integrity of game files...". Now the game will verify all the files and re-download the files that might be missing.
Step III: After this, restart Steam and launch Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in your steam library.
Possibility 2 - Updating The Drivers
Not being able to verify the game is a common problem and most of the time missing game files are the reason behind it. However, sometimes faulty drivers are a problem.
