With the surprise release of Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Beta, many are wondering whether the game is here to stay, or whether they need to get as many hours in as possible before the servers close before the game's final release. Look, there is only a month before the game's launch, so it's a pretty reasonable question.

So Halo Infinite's Beta is, indeed, the full version of the game's Multiplayer component, and is certainly here to also hype up the huge campaign we can expect on December 8. Whilst the Multiplayer Beta might be here to test the servers, introduce us all to the multiplayer, and prepare us for Season One, our progress will also transfer over to the final game. Enough babbling, though, let's cut to the chase!

How Long Will the Halo Infinite Beta Be Available?

The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta will continue indefinitely until the official launch of Halo Infinite on December 8, 2021. Yes, that's right, this might be technically a "Beta", but in reality it's the full multiplayer portion of the game. This isn't to say that there isn't more coming to multiplayer at launch - for example, the Battle Pass and Season One - but the Halo Infinite Beta is not simply a timed demo.

Halo Infinite's Beta features a whopping ten multiplayer maps, all of which are absolutely incredible. What's more, Halo Infinite's first Battle Pass will cost about $30 USD and will run through to May of 2022. It's a free to play game, and to be honest, you must check it out as soon as possible. When Will Halo Infinite Release?

Halo Infinite will release on December 8, at 12AM PT, 3AM EST, or 8AM GMT. At this point, players of the beta will be able to seamlessly transfer their progress over to the final games. In addition, the free-to-play multiplayer component of the game will leave its beta stage, and we imagine that there will be a massive, life-changing update that comes along with it.

Now, remember that Halo Infinite's Multiplayer effectively released a whole month before the game's official launch. Thus, if you're starting to get a bit tired of the multiplayer portion of this game (something we seriously doubt is true), then you can launch into the highly-anticipated Campaign on December 8. Keep in mind, though, that it won't feature co-op at launch.

Additionally, Halo Infinite will not feature Forge at launch. This is a tad of a shame, but we expect that this will come a little after launch, along with a rumoured Battle Royale mode. We want to be real with you, though, as this hasn't been officially confirmed yet. It has been hinted at, and we expect that it is true, but there has been no confirmation. In the meantime, though, Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Beta is fantastic. You should make sure to check it out!
