The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is releasing new tracks in waves every few months. Wave 4 is going to be the next one, featuring Yoshi's Island, the classic Mario circuit, and even a tour through Bangkok.
The Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass is not like most DLC's, where you pay for something once and then get all the content. No, with this DLC, the content is being released over the course of a long time. Every few months, Nintendo is releasing a wave of 8 new tracks.
Not all of these tracks are entirely new though! The selection of new tracks is always containing two entirely new ones that are based on a famous city, and the other 6 are usually ones that we've seen before in older Mario Kart games, which are now renewed.
Every time a new wave launches, we can get pulled back in time and feel that nostalgia of when we were all little, and cruising through maps like the coconut mall from Wii or the Kalimari Desert from Nintendo 63, there is honestly no better feeling.

Wave 4 is on the way. There are only a few days left until we have the chance to go back to our childhood and experience the joy of Donkey Kong Summit or Riverside Park all over again in HD... But not only that, the upcoming wave will also include four tracks, that are entirely new to us, how exciting! Luckily, we won't have to wait for long, cause it will release this week on March 9 at 2 pm CET, 5 am PT, 8 am ET, and 1 pm GMT.
