New Sly Cooper & Infamous Games In Development

Two franchises that we thought had long-since been abandoned are now in active development again: Sly Cooper and Infamous.

Microsoft bought Activision and threw down the gauntlet. They were effectively saying: we've got a bigger wallet than you, Sony, and we're going to win this war one way or another. Now Microsoft may have the bigger wallet, and for now they might have a more impressive hutch of studios, but Sony aren't going down without a fight. Just earlier this week we hear about the Ghost of Tsushima sequel, and now we've had confirmation of new Sly Cooper and Infamous games in development. Your move Xbox.

Projects In Development For Sly Cooper & Infamous

A very well-known and trusted leaker, AccountNGT, has recently revealed that Sly Cooper and Infamous are both getting new games. Now AccountNGT has been proven correct about quite a few leaks recently, so unlike the hundred and one nonsense stories we hear every day, we're actually pretty certain that this leak is correct. Here's exactly what they said:

The last Sly Cooper, Thieves of Time, was rated highly but wasn't a commercial success, so we had sort of given up. And similarly, the last Infamous game, First Light, had a mixed reception, which we thought had killed the franchise. But after all these years, maybe Sony can resuscitate these franchises successfully. Only time can tell.

Until then, why not enjoy some of Sony's other fantastic recent releases?
