Nintendo Japan has just released three short commercials for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with one of them showing a large beauty shot of the Gerudo Desert. That leads me to another point. The area of The Seven Heroines seems to be flooded with sand, to the point where some of the beautiful statues are nearly halfway buried! It's quite unusual, and honestly, I can't think of a good explanation for what happened here.

By taking a look at the background in this scene, the entire thing becomes even more concerning. There is a GIGANTIC cloud of churned up sand in the distance. Maybe this will have something to do with the enormous temple that has risen up from the ground in the Gerudo Desert.
