Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is basically CoD for kids, but there's something really fun and cute about the art style, and the game is complex enough to be engaging. The first few games in the franchise were a huge commercial success, but sadly the most recent entry, Battle for Neighborville, sold quite poorly. The poor sales figures of BFN, and lack of news from the devs, left most fans assuming the franchise was basically dead.

It's with great pleasure we can announce that Garden Warfare 3 is, in fact, a thing. The franchise is not dead, and GW3 is already in development. We have the first leaked gameplay available for you down below.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 Gameplay

A long-term Plants vs. Zombies leaker, Hey1mJay, has just leaked some early development gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3. Leaked gameplay is always exciting, but especially so in this case because most fans thought we would never get a Garden Warfare 3. The devs themselves even said that GW3 wasn't going to happen, but the evidence is right here:

It looks solid enough so far, but obviously this footage was taken from a very early build, so we can't judge anything by it yet. Still, we're pretty hopeful. This was always a very fun, charming shooter, and we would love to see the series make a big comeback.

If this news has made you excited to check out the Plants vs. Zombies franchise, you can pick up the latest game here .

... But if you're going to wait till GW3 is released to take a look at PvZ, then maybe you're more interested in one of these games right now:
