Pokémon Scarlet And Violet: A Two Part DLC

The big Pokémon surprise is here, we can look forward to two new DLCs at once for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet!

During the recent Pokémon Presents presentation, one of the notable revelations was the introduction of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC . Comprising two parts - The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk - the DLC will commence with the first part being made available this Fall, followed by a second part in Winter.

Although we had prior knowledge about the DLC and some of the Pokémon that will feature in both parts, The Pokémon Company has revealed additional details. They have indicated that more than 230 previously featured Pokémon will be making a comeback. This information has been officially stated in their press release:

"In Part 1: The Teal Mask and Part 2: The Indigo Disk, you will be able to encounter over 230 familiar Pokémon that have been found living in other regions but which had not appeared in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet."

A Two Part DLC

Part one of the Scarlet & Violet DLC will take players on a school trip to the land of Kitakami, which is situated beyond the Paldea region.

Part two will continue the storyline with players attending Blueberry Academy as an exchange student. The trailer in the presentation suggests that part one will include a Japanese-style festival, while part two will feature Blueberry Academy located in the ocean. The music in the trailer is impressive!

Kitakami is a serene place that offers vast natural landscapes, including apple orchards and rice paddies. Players will make new acquaintances and learn about folk tales from the region.

The DLC will introduce three new Pokémon: Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, which are revered by the people of the region as its protectors.

New Pokémon

The Scarlet & Violet DLC will feature a new Legendary Pokémon in each part. The first part will introduce Ogerpon, a mask-wearing creature, while the second part will include Terapagos. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to catch over 230 returning Pokémon from other regions.

Players can purchase the DLC now on the eShop before its release. Those who purchase early will receive new uniform sets and a unique Hisuian Zoroark that cannot be obtained through normal gameplay.Furthermore, two Paradox Pokémon, Walking Wake, a water/dragon type, and Iron Leaves, a grass/psychic type, will be available in Tera Raids.
