Maybe you stumbled upon one of these beautiful cherry blossom trees, like me, and asked yourself what secret they hide. Of course, they must be hiding something, especially if you discovered one in a place not quite fitting for such a tree. Like the snowy mountains of Hebra or somewhere in the dusty Gerudo Highlands. In fact, these trees can come in useful, if you want to discover some hidden places nearby.

Cherry Blossom Tree Locations

There are eight Cherry Blossom Trees in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. To get a hint in game, where to find them, you can visit the Outskirts Stable, where you'll find a map on the wall, with cherry blossom trees painted on it. The trees are spread over eight regions, and you can either search for them with the map from Outskirts Stable or use our list.

What To Do With Cherry Blossom Trees

If you approach a cherry blossom tree, you'll meet a NPC named Kanora and if you choose to listen you'll learn about the creatures named Satori who are said to live near those trees. Also, the Satori are said to value fruits over all, unfortunately Kanora hasn't any fruits, but you probably have. If so, place one of them on the little altar between the roots of the cherry blossom tree.

In a cut scene a Satori, resembling the little Blupees but bigger and more... horse-like, will appear. The Satori will not look at you directly, but into the distance, where beams of light will appear to mark nearby caves. For just one fruit, the Satori will reveal locations where you can find lots of valuable loot – pretty good deal.

But be aware that these light beams are temporary, so it would be best to mark them on your map. Also, it's possible that not every light beam is visible from your location, so be sure to check from a higher point!
