Even though the year is coming to an end, the gaming year has enough hits to prepare for Sony's tank of a console.

Welcome to our gallery of the15 PS5 games releasing in late 2024! It's impossible to be truly objective, but this light-hearted opinion piece celebrates our favorite upcoming games for the PS5. Explore the list and share your own favorites in the comments!
In last place, we have the remake of MGS Snake Eater. The original was one of the best Metal Gear Solid games ever made, and we trust them to give us a high-effort remake, but we have this one in last place because we still don't have a release date, and we expect it could be delayed. Overwatch 2 is in a crisis, and Concord's failure is well-known, but perhaps Marvel can actually make something successful for this genre? We're certainly hopeful. | © NetEase Games
Assassin's Creed Mirage showed us that Ubisoft are still able to produce a more focused stealth game, after all those massive open-world AC titles. We're hoping they find a good balance between the two style in Shadows, with tight gameplay and a sprinkling of RPG elements. | © Ubisoft
Just a reskin of FS24? Nonsense. We're getting new crops to grow like rice and spinach, as well as new machines from the most highly-respected international farming brands! And of course like every year a technical and graphical update. | © Giants Software
This is a new free-to-play MMORPG from South Korean studio NCSoft, but it won't have classes like most MMORPGs. Instead, you choose two weapons that define your play style, sort of like Monster Hunter. We're hyped (but there is a big chance this flops). | © NCSoft
What better way to beat the cold than curling up on the couch and designing the craziest theme parks? In this sequel, we're getting a ton of minor updates, but the most noticeable new addition is that we can now also combine water parks with our creations! | © Frontier Developments
One of the longest RPG franchises in gaming, which started in the mid-80s, will get its tenth game on October 25 (well, in the West; it has already been released in Japan). This series is known for its fantastic gameplay and innovation, and we think this entry will be no different. | © Nihon Falcom
We know BioWare does not have the best reputation anymore, but we want to believe in the promise of Veilguard. From what we've seen so far, they want to create a kind-of-open-world-kind-of-linear game like God of War, but with RPG/companion elements that remind us of BG3. A promising concept. | © BioWare
Max Caulfield returns in Life is Strange: Double Exposure to solve a murder mystery. Based on the first game, we feel we can confidently trust Deck Nine Games to produce a brilliant experience with compelling writing. | © Deck Nine Games
Early access has made us quietly confident in this CoD, with it's omnimovement and Treyarch-led design. We're expecting a fun campaign, great zombies, and a very strong multiplayer experience. | © Activision
Diablo III had a poor start that was massively improved by later expansions. We actually liked the based version of Diablo IV, but we think this expansion can build on that success to create something even more addictive. | © Activision/Blizzard
This remake of the classic JRPG looks like a fantastic mix between old school visuals and high resolution. A nice chance to catch up with an old friend, and hopefully with some QoL improvements made along the way. | © Square Enix
The visuals look great and fans of the Budukai Tenkachi games will be amazed by the art style. We also recently learned that we're going to get to use over 180 characters! | © Bandi Namco
One of the best horror games of all time is getting a remake, and it should be here in time for Halloween! Our only fear is that they might not capture the unique atmosphere of the original, but from the promo material we've seen so far we can at least confirm the game is going to look fantastic. | © Konami
From the developers of the Persona series comes a brand-new adventure in a fantasy setting. The trailer was awesome and revealed a game that looks to be on its way to a strong release.
In many ways, we think this title will be to Persona fans what Elden Ring was to FromSoftware fans, with very familiar mechanics, but enough major changes to spark new interest. | © Atlus
