Inspired by the Zombie map "Liberty Falls", the new Resurgence map is called "Haven's Hollow.
"Call of Duty Next 2025" began on the evening of September 30th 2025 and revealed the latest news about Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7.
Among other things, the new map "Haven's Hollow" for the resurgence mode was shown.

Haven's Hollow Is Set In West Virginia
The new map will be available to play at the start of the new season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in the resurgence mode of Warzone. "Haven's Hollow" is expected to be a bit bigger than the popular map "Rebirth Island" and a bit smaller than "Fortunes Keep".
In addition to that the map is inspired by West Virginia. This is the case, because "Haven's Hollow" is practically an extension of the zombie map "Liberty Falls" from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which is inspired by the real city of Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. Even the autumn colors, characteristic of the location and season, were also reflected in the American small-town setting.
The Developers mentioned at "Call of Duty Next" that they liked the location of "Liberty Falls" that much, that they decided to expand on it. This led ultimately to the creation of "Haven's Hollow".

"Haven's Hollow" will contain the following points of Interest:
- Main Street
- Train Station
- Pond
- Homestead
- Mansion
- Riverboat
- Research Center
- Coal Depot
- Lumbermill

What does the Community think?
While one side is happy about the addition of a new resurgence map, the other one criticized that it is practically not a "new" map, because this map was already partially available in Black Ops 6.
"Damn look at those reused assets."
"Looks like half the map is just liberty falls but I’m not complaining, actually looks pretty cool."
"I personally think it's cool we are getting a full scale version of West Virginia! I'm excited to see how this map plays out. It's gonna be weird seeing it not so- zombies though."
On the other hand, many players are hoping for the return of classic maps in Resurgence mode, including "Rebirth Island", "Fortunes Keep", "Vondel" and "Ashika Island".

"Why cant we just have rebirth?"
"Give me back Ashika."
It is still unclear whether the launch of Black Ops 7’s first season will once again feature a rotation mode with multiple Resurgence maps.
