On May 30, Marvel Rivals players can look forward to a new update!

May 30 is the day: The new update 2.5 is coming to Marvel Rivals! With the highly anticipated arrival of Ultron and new team-ups, there's something for everyone.
Ultron Is Finally Here
The new update sees the addition of the game's anticipated antagonist, Ultron. He is apparently supposed to be a strategist with healing abilities, but who can just as easily wreak havoc on the entire match. We don't know much about the new character yet, but two things are interesting to point out: On the one hand, he can fly, which provides more strategy in the airspace. At the same time, we can also see a laser rifle and a uni-beam team-up with Iron Man in the gameplay clips.
Witness the Rise of Ultron! Ultron has returned as humanity's judge. After years in exile beyond the stars, his purpose is clear: wipe organic life from the timeline and take control of the future. Summon unstoppable precision and power for S2.5 on May 30 UTC!... pic.twitter.com/NJPpJeWmmb
Teamfight Tactics In Marvel Rivals?
The new game mode is called "Ultrons Battle Matrix Protocol" and will remain in the game for a limited time. Apparently, the mode is an auto-battler in the style of Teamfight Tactics, but has a maximum player count of six people. Again, we don't have a lot of information yet, but according to Guangyun 'GuangGuang' Chen, Marvel Rivals Creative Director at NetEase Games:
This mode is an experiment of how we can fulfil everyone’s fantasies of Marvel Super Heroes teaming up. Players can take control of a wider array of heroes and amplify their stats and abilities.

New And Changed Team-Ups
In order to keep online games fresh, changes and adjustments are often needed. Some team-ups will be removed or changed in the new patch, which will not only affect your matches, but will definitely also bring a breath of fresh air to pro play. This is also confirmed by Zhiyong Feng, the Lead Combat Designer, who is also responsible for balancing to a certain extent:
In Season 2.0, we debuted adjustments for Team-Up abilities, injecting fresh energy into our game environment. With Season 2.5, we’re going even further, with not only Team-Up ability changes, but also the arrival of our new hero Ultron and key numerical balance updates, all set to deliver a whole new level of combat excitement.
That's something to look forward to! Here is a brief overview of the planned changes. The character in bold is the team-up anchor.
