Warzone Devs Heard Our Prayers – Verdansk Is Back In 2025!

It is finally time! The developers have announced that Verdansk is coming back in 2025, but there might be some changes we have to put up with.

When Warzone first launched back in 2020, it became a smash hit and got us through the first wave of Covid. Back then, we had one map and one map only – Verdansk.

With its eastern European charm and iconic locations such as “Military Base”, “Superstore”, “Prison”, or “Boneyard”, this map became one of the most iconic Call of Duty locations of all time.

Now, we will finally be able to re-experience this wonderful map in 2025.

Verdansk – The Best Map In Warzone History

It's actually quite interesting that the developers managed to create a huge map that was beloved by so many people on their first try. I mean, the map after Verdansk, Caldera, was hated on so much that the devs had no other choice but to react.

Although the current map, Al-Mazrah, seems to be fine, I can't really say that it captures any of the magic from the first map.

Now, Activision has announced Verdansk's return in 2025, but it's still unclear how it will look. It could be the case that time has changed the locations a bit. In any case, getting to play on this legendary map will be great for sure.

So even if it's not like the OG map we know and love, I look forward to rediscovering this magical place.

What do you think? Are you excited about Verdansk returning?
