Those who die aren't yeeted from the game, they end up in the Gulag with a chance to win their way back in. You get a 1v1 with another player, in pure CoD style, and the winner returns to the match. Works great, doesn't it? And so the Gulag doesn't get too boring for us, the developers change the map every now and then. In fact, we've had no less than seven different Gulags. 8. Hold
Warzone Season 3 brings a new Gulag into the game. Since we don't know much about it yet, it will be on our last place for the time being. As soon as we were able to test it in game, we will rank it accordingly. | © Activision
7. Rebirth Island
After a while, this Gulag disappeared secretly and silently from the game. Not a bad decision we think, because it wasn't really great. | © Activision
6. Rush
Like most Gulag maps, Rush was a part of the actual multiplayer map. The issue is that the map is just too chaotic and colorful for a Gulag atmosphere. | © Activision
5. Hijacked
The plywood replica from Hijacked looked cool and was quite fun, but nothing compared to the following Gulags. | © Activision
4. Standoff
Standoff was really good and offered a mix of open spaces and cover. Overall, this gulag felt very balanced. | © Activision
3. Caldera
The new Caldera Gulag looks damn pretty and plays well too. We are definitely happy with it. | © Activision
2. Nuketown
Of course, Nuketown was also smuggled in again, this time as a Gulag... but honestly, we love it. You can never get enough of Nuketown. | © Activision
