The Nikita AVT is one of those weapons that when you first look at, you expect it to behave like the AS44. And by that, we mean pointless. It's very fast-firing, and it seems on paper like it's going to be uncontrollably fast and have too much recoil to be effective. However, with the right combination of attachments, we can reduce the recoil enough to make this an effective rifle out to 60-70 m. More than effective, in fact, we believe it's competitively viable.
How Do You Unlock The Nikita AVT?
You unlock the Nikita AVT by reaching level 31 on the Battle Pass, and this is a free unlock, so even if you don't actually pay for the Battle Pass you will unlock this weapon once you reach the required level. That was easy enough, wasn't it, basically: just play the game, and you will eventually unlock this weapon.
The Best Nikita AVT Attachment Setup

Component | Attachment |
Muzzle | MX Silencer |
Barrel | Kalevskaya 546mm Sniper |
Optic | SVT-PU Scope 3-6x |
Stock | Empress Notch |
Underbarrel | M1941 Handstop |
Magazine | 6.5mm Sakura 60 Round Drums |
Ammunition | Lengthened |
Rear Grip | Polymer Grip |
Perk | Brace |
Perk 2 | Fully Loaded |
Of course, we need big mags and a silencer (welcome to Warzone), but besides this we're putting almost every other attachment on to reduce recoil. The Nikita already has great mobility, a strong rate of fire, and admirable range, but it really needs help with recoil.
The Best Secondary, Grenades & Perks For A Nikita AVT Loadout
The Best Secondary Weapon For The Nikita AVT

Now before you think we've gone crazy, we're not going to make this an Overkill loadout because the Nikita is such a do-it-all weapon. It's good enough that we can rely on ground loot to eventually fill the secondary slot, and instead of taking Overkill we can gain more from Restock, Tempered, or High Alert. Although, those perks are lootable items now, so you might not want to run the risk of doubling up.
The Best Equipment For The Nikita AVT
Lethal | Semtex |
Tactical | Heartbeat Scanner |
There's nothing fancy going on here. The Nikita is going to be most effective in engagements at about the 30 m range. So we aren't at the front of the squad pushing in with Snapshot Grenades and Throwing Knives, but we also aren't stuck at the back with Claymores. We've taken Semtex as a great all-rounder against infantry and vehicles, and the Heartbeat Scanner for free intel.
The Best Perks For The Nikita AVT
Perk 1 | Cold-Blooded |
Perk 2 | Tempered |
Perk 3 | Combat Scout |
Combat Scout is fantastic on Caldera, as it will mark enemies for the team automatically when we deal damage, so no matter which bushes they try to hide in, we'll find them. And we're taking Cold-Blooded to hard counter enemies who try to use Combat Scout against us. While, in the second perk slot, we've gone for Tempered as a way to give us the edge in longer firefights, which take place over minutes rather than seconds, and therefore require you to replate multiple times.
If the Nikita is still too bouncy for you, and you'd rather a more steady option, then perhaps the STG with 50 round Gorenko mags is more your style?
