The Best Warzone 3-Line Rifle Loadout | Caldera's HDR

The 3-Line Rifle is Vanguard's long-range sniper with great velocity. Here's the current meta attachment setup and a full loadout to use the 3-Line with.

The 3-Line Rifle wasn't popular on Warzone Pacific's launch because it's so damn slow. But then we got the huge sniper nerf in Season 3, and suddenly players are returning to the 3-Line Rifle. If all the sniping options are slow and only a few still have one-shot potential, then why not take the one that has the best bullet velocity and least idle sway? Here's the best attachment setup for the 3-Line Rifle, and beneath it, a suggestion for good perks and a strong secondary weapon.

Note: This is a Warzone setup guide, if you want to sue the 3-Line in multiplayer then you want this guide.

Deep Breath

While the 3-Line is slow, we can still get some ADS buffs from the Mark VI Skeletal, the ZAC Custom stock and the Leather rear grip. Silent Focus and Deep Breath are the obvious choices for sniping, the first for stability and the second to have longer hold breath duration. Some won't go with a suppressor, but for us, it's mandatory, and the barrel will boost that bullet velocity. The only choice that might be surprising is the variable optic, but we just like to have the option to choose between zoom levels.

The Best Secondary, Grenades & Perks for a 3-Line Rifle Loadout

We've taken the above build to appeal to players that like to be really fast, so if you want to take it a bit slower, you should opt for the H4 Blixen or Welgun instead. But anyway you build it, the Marco 5 is pretty fantastic; it just gives you a ton of mobility and makes you run faster than anyone else. Here is our best Marco 5 setup.

The Best Equipment for the 3-Line Rifle

LethalThrowing Knives
TacticalFlash

These two are really only going to be used when you're pushing in with your MP40. But they should be pretty decent in that situation; the Throwing Knife to thirst downs and the Flash as the best aggressive tactical right now (since the Stun was nerfed during the Vanguard integration).

You could opt for Smokes instead and take a Thermal Scope, but we would only recommend this to players on highly co-ordinated teams, who can make sure everyone on the team is taking Smokes and Thermals. On your own, it might not be so effective.

The Best Perks for the 3-Line Rifle

Perk 1Cold-Blooded
Perk 2Overkill

Perk 3

Combat Scout

We probably sound like a broken record the amount we've been recommending these perks in the first few months of Caldera, but they're simply the best option in most instances. Cold-Blooded is a direct counter to the very popular Combat Scout, and Combat Scout is so popular because it's fantastic on the new map with its dense patches of foliage. Overkill is obviously necessary, so you can take a Sniper Support with a Sniper.

Is the 3-Line just too slow for you, even with these attachments? Then maybe the Kar98k is what you're after, you can find the current meta attachment setup here.
