In Warzone and MW Season 2 Reloaded, we're getting new camo challenges called "Path of the Ronin". By completing one challenge you unlock the "Winds of Ash" skin for a category of weapons, and by doing all challenges you unlock the beautiful "Bowing Blossom" skin. Here are all the challenges.
On Wednesday, March 15 at 9am PT (12pm ET / 5pm GMT / 6pm CET) Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare II will get a new midseason update: Season 2 Reloaded. Among other exciting new pieces of content, we are getting a series of new camo challenges called The Path of the Ronin. .
- These challenges will a lot faster to complete in MWII multiplayer .
How To Unlock Winds of Ash Camo
The skin you get for individual challenges is not very nice, and would not be worth it if this was the only reward. But once you've completed every single Path of the Ronin challenge, you get a really beautiful skin (don't get your hopes up for Shredder). The "Winds of Ash" camo is really sweet, and here's how you can get it.
The Path of the Ronin Camo Challenges
There are ten different Path of the Ronin camo challenges, one for each category of weapon. You can use any weapon within a category to complete that category's challenge. Once a challenge is complete, you will unlock the Winds of Ash for every weapon within the category.
Here are the challenges:
- Assault Rifles: Get 125 headshots
- Battle Rifles: Get 75 headshots
- Submachine Guns: Get 100 headshots
- Light Machine Guns: Get 75 headshots
- Shotguns: Get 50 headshots
- Marksman Rifles: Get 50 headshots
- Sniper Rifles: Get 50 headshots
- Handguns: Get 30 headshots
- Melee: Get 30 kills from behind
- Launcher: Get 40 kills
It won't be too difficult for most people with a copy MWII, but in Warzone this will take a long time to complete (especially the launcher challenge).
Completing Every Challenge: Unlocking Bowing Blossoms
Once you have completed all ten of the camo challenges for each class of weapon you will unlock the beautiful Bowing Blossoms skin. This is really the whole point of the event, we doubt many people will use Winds of Ash.

That looks like a really cool skin. And if Shipment is live, you could probably grind through those challenges in a matter of hours rather than days or even weeks.
