The Best Warzone 2.0 SO-14 Loadout | Insane Recoil, But Packs A Punch

We have the best SO-14 loadout for Warzone 2.0 below. This battle rifle is pretty damn powerful, especially in full auto mode, but the heavy recoil makes it very situational and difficult to use.

The SO-14 belongs to the new class of Battle Rifles in Warzone 2.0. This weapon class is basically assault rifles chambered in a larger caliber. And thus they have a longer range, but also more violent recoil. They bridge the gap between assault rifles and DMRs. When used correctly, these weapons can be powerful, but they are admittedly very situational.

The SO-14 isn't terrible, especially in multiplayer. It has access to a 50-round magazine, making it a real shredder in full-auto mode. The big downside, however, is that the SO-14's recoil is insane.

This means that at medium to long distances, the fully automatic mode is out of the question, because you won't hit anything. So you need to be constantly switching between semi and full auto depending on range.

Our main focus with the SO-14 is to control the recoil as much as possible. This works well with the barrel, which not only increases bullet velocity and range, but also improves recoil control.

The underbarrel and muzzle also help control for visual recoil when shooting. For the sight, we decided on the Schlager, but optics are always down to personal preference.

Since we use the secondary weapon in this loadout for shorter distances, we don't need a 50-round magazine, but we think 25 is worth it. If you can manage with only 20 shots, you can of course pack a laser or stock for more mobility instead. When tuning, we try to at least increase the ADS speed a bit, but otherwise we concentrate on compensating for recoil as best as we can.

Warzone 2.0 SO-14: Secondary Weapon, Perks & Equipment

Secondary Weapon: Chimera

When choosing a secondary weapon for the SO-14, we can go all-out on fast handling with an SMG like the Fennec 45. However, we've opted for a weapon that is still semi-strong at medium distances: the Chimera.

Introduced in Season 1 Reloaded, the Chimera is a hybrid of sorts between an assault rifle and an SMG, so it's perfect for close-range combat, but still useful at mid-range.

Perks (Basic, Bonus & Ultimate)

Again our standard choice:

Perk PackageSpectre

Basic Perk

Double Time / Tracker

Bonus PerkSpotter
Ultimate Perk

Ghost

The Specter package is currently one of the best Perk Packages in Warzone 2.0, thanks to Ghost, Double Time and Tracker. These are all great perks, even if Spotter is admittedly trash.

Unfortunately, we can't get Overkill with Ghost, but we can simply buy the second weapon at a buy station. However, we advise you to start with the Chimera and buy the SO-14 because you could get into serious trouble with just the SO-14.

Equipment (Lethal & Tactical)

Our favorite combo:

Lethal

Semtex
Tactical

Flash Grenade

Flash grenades are straight up broken right now and will blind enemies for a very long time. Semtex is always viable and works equally well against vehicles and infantry - one of the best do-it-all options.

That was all for the SO-14. If you're looking for something more reliable, try one of the best assault rifles in Warzone 2.0.
