There are now so many weapons in Warzone that it's almost impossible to keep track of them all. With all the weapons, it's no wonder that most limit themselves to the meta, but that leaves a lot of viable options completely neglected, like the Striker 45. While there are definitely better submachine guns in Warzone, the Striker is still worth checking out. But if you're absolutely not in the mood for this somewhat more exotic SMG, just have a look at our SMG tier list.

How Do You Unlock The Striker 45?

The Striker 45 is an ancient Modern Warfare weapon that was added back in Modern Warfare's Season 2. At that time, it could be unlocked via the Battle Pass, which, of course, is no longer possible now. To unlock the Striker 45 now, you have to make 2 kills with an SMG while sliding in 15 different matches. As always, this is much easier in multiplayer than in Warzone. So if you still have Modern Warfare on your hard drive, we advise unlocking the Striker 45 in Modern Warfare multiplayer. If you don't feel like the challenge, you can of course simply buy a bundle with a Striker 45 blueprint in the shop.

The Best Striker 45 Setup

MuzzleMonolithic Suppressor
Barrel300mm Poly Barrel
LaserTac Laser
StockXRK Gen III Survivalist Series
Magazine45 Round Mags

Since we want to use the Striker as sniper support, we're focusing our build on range, bullet velocity, and accuracy. With the muzzle and barrel, we significantly increase range and bullet velocity, while the stock buffs our ADS speed. A large magazine is, as always, self-explanatory, and we think thelaser is a good choice for the short-to-medium ranges we intend to fight at with the Striker 45.

The Best Secondary Weapon For The Striker 45

Since we want to play the Striker 45 as a sniper support, as already mentioned, we naturally need a sniper... You can pick the sniper of your choice, but we recommend the ZRG since the Swiss K31 and the Kar98k were nerfed pretty hard. The ZRG is back in the meta again and can still kill enemies with just one shot on any distance, so we think it's the best choice for most. But always remember to switch to the striker in good time if things get too hectic or if you need to push a building. Here's a more detailed ZRG Guide for you.

The Best Equipment For The Striker 45

LethalSemtex
TacticalHeartbeat Sensor

We recommend Semtex simply because it's good against almost everything. It's effective against infantry and vehicles, and if your aim is good, you can even land a stick. In the tactics slot, we have the heartbeat sensor, and with this, you can always check whether there are enemies close by. You can also exchange the heartbeat sensor for flash or stun grenades if you're a more aggressive player.

The Best Perks For The Striker 45

Perk 1E.O.D.
Perk 2Overkill
Perk 3Amped

With E.O.D., we reduce the damage from explosions, so it's a pretty great constant buff. Overkill is mandatory so that we can carry both weapons in our loadout. And finally, we'll take Amped, which allows us to switch between our weapons faster. The last perk in particular is always a huge advantage in sniper loadouts, as we can quickly switch to our support weapon when we get pushed or force an opponent into close combat.

This was our best setup for the Striker 45 submachine gun. It's definitely one of the lesser played weapons in Warzone, but it's by no means useless. So if you're bored with the current meta, you should take a closer look at Striker 45. If you're just chasing the meta though, the Welgun is probably still a good choice.
