Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie Trailer Revealed | First Look At The Animatronics

Recent leaks have offered a first look at the Five Nights at Freddy's trailer, offering a first glimpse at the animatronics.

Five Nights At Freddy's is one of the most iconic horror games out there. The news of a movie adaptation therefore got many people excited as well as anxious as to how good/ bad it would turn out to be. Now a first glimpse at the movie has been revealed as the official teaser shows off the big bad animatronics in action.

Five Nights at Freddy's is a survival horror game in which the player must survive five nights as a security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The animatronic characters, who perform during the day, become active at night and try to kill the player. The game is known for its jump scares and tense atmosphere.

Five Nights at Freddy's Trailer Reveals Terrifying Animatronics

On May 6, the trailer apparently leaked in two parts on Twitter, but has since been taken down. In the video, you could see a recording of a screen covered with a watermark to prevent unwanted distribution of the IP (which obviously didn't work very well).

Now, though, we finally have an official trailer that does a way better job at showing off the eerie atmosphere a movie adaptation of the iconic horror game needs.

In the trailer, fans were able to get a first good look at the iconic animatronics, which apparently were brought to life with practical effects, made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

In short, they're puppets made by a professional, not CGI.

Sadly, the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie is set to release on October 27, 2023, so fans will have to wait quite a while. But the good thing is it will release right in time for Halloween.
