Ones to Watch cards are special cards for FIFA Ultimate Team. Because they are dynamic, they can always improve through upgrades over the whole year. OTWs celebrate players who were transferred in the summer transfer window.

New OTW Upgrades Explained – World Cup Upgrades In November

Ones to Watch upgrades can be explained quickly: If a player receives an Inform card, the OVR of the OTW card increases to this rating. Also, if a player gets a Man of the Match card, the OTW version gets better. We will see the "Wins to Watch Upgrade" again this year. If an OTW player's team wins 3 of the next 8 league games starting Friday, September 30th, there will be a one-time upgrade.

Additionally, OTW stars participating in the Winter World Cup will be changed to Nations to Watch and receive an upgrade if their national team wins games in Qatar. The player does not even have to be in the squad for this. So make sure your OTW guys are playing for a nation that has a good chance of winning the World Cup. Nice innovation, because this way OTWs remain attractive until after the World Cup, the TOTW will pause during this time.
