So, we all stand in agreement, that the 2018 God of War was fire. In fact, nevermind that, because all the God of War games are fire. I can't speak on the PSP outings, since I never played them, but all the PS2 and PS3 God of War games... chef's kiss. So, if there ever was a game to deserve all the hype - and a ridiculous $250 price tag - it's God of War Ragnarok. Even more so that we know the game will feature all Nine Realms.

God of War Ragnarok Will Have All Nine Realms

So, back in 2018, while we we're marveling through the Northern Mythology alongside Kratos and Atreus, we all wanted to explore all Nine Realms, but were only allowed to explore Midgard, Alfheim, Helheim, Muspelheim, Nilfheim, and Jotunheim. Since there was never any DLC, Svartalfheim, Vanaheim and Asgard will now make their debut in Ragnarok. Naturally, cautious minds thought that the game might restrict us to those three regions, but, as it turns out... we can now visit all Nine Realms.

We know that, thanks the full synopsis that was revealed for God of War Ragnarok, which actually gave us our first real glimpse at what we can expect from the game's story:

Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.

As if we weren't already hyped enough... Well, now it's only a couple more months until we will finally get our hands on God of War Ragnarok, and if you didn't know: The game is scheduled to be released for the PS4, and the PS5 on November 9.
